BIO:
Born and raised in Michigan, I moved to Colorado to goof around and ski for a season, promising my parents I would come home in a few months and get a “real” job. Long story short – it’s been almost three decades and I’m still here, calling Durango home. In addition to my art, the “real” job is family: a husband, two daughters and a feisty rat terrier.
Inspired by travel and the natural world, my painting process involves applying a dozen or more layers of paint, with different layers exposed throughout the painting. Often, water is applied and then removed along with layers of paint to reveal the marks below, resulting in surprising effects that then influence the direction of each piece.

SHIPPING INFORMATION: Shipping is not included in the price of each piece and will be invoiced separately. Contact me for a shipping quote. Larger canvases will be securely packed and shipped through UPS. Smaller pieces will be packed in sturdy envelopes or boxes and sent through USPS.
